Meet Our Staff --- Kindergarten!

Introducing . . .

Katelynn George

Kindergarten Teacher

Katelynn George was born and raised in St. George Utah. She attended Dixie State College where she received her degree in Elementary Education with an ESL Endorsement. After completing school she came up for her first year teaching at Forbes Elementary School; there she taught for 2 years in Kindergarten and just can't wait to start her third year at Dry Creek Elementary!

A year after moving up she got married to a wonderful man and have enjoyed their first year together! Katelynn just loves to have fun both in and out of school. She loves being outdoors, playing games with friends or family, and sometimes just reading a good book! Growing up with 3 younger brothers made her love sports; football is her favorite sport to watch, but volleyball is her favorite to play. She also loves to travel! Throughout her life she has been able to travel all round the states and to a few other countries, and now being married she enjoys new places with her husband.

Katelynn always loves to meet new people as well as get to know them better. This is especially true when it comes to her students and their families! She loves to teach and can't wait to help instill a love of learning in all students while making sure school is a fun and wonderful place to be!

Meet Our Staff --- 6th Grade!

Introducing . . .
Kirsten Bean

6th Grade Teacher

I was born and raised in El Segundo, CA (right by the LA airport).  However, I've been living in the Provo/Orem area for 13 years, so I guess that pretty much makes me from Utah.  I have a daughter who is three and a son who is one.  I've been teaching for 5 years.  My husband and I like to walk our dogs, be with our family, go to the library, listen to the radio, and swim.
