Picture Update

This week has been so exciting!  The school is really taking shape and we are excited for the kids and parents to come on Monday for Back to School Night and see this beautiful building.  There has been A LOT going on!  Deliveries, finishing construction touches, cleaning, teachers setting up, furniture building, landscaping, and much much more!

Deliveries started arriving on Monday morning this week.

The first of MANY, MANY, MANY boxes!

 Books!

 So many trucks.

Our gym has been so full this week!

Crews have been working to finish the sidewalk on 1100 West so that kids can walk to school.

Did I mention that we've seen a lot of boxes this week?

Teachers started unloading and bringing in their stuff on Wednesday.

A few teachers got together and rented a U-haul to get everything to school.

The first of 3 semi-trucks of furniture.

The grass was finished during the middle of the week.

 Trucks, trucks, and more trucks!

Our amazing district administrators came to help haul boxes, stamp books, put together furniture, and put away supplies.  A big thanks to them for helping us get on our feet!

More district administration help.

Lots of work going on in teacher's classrooms to get things ready for the kids!

We also had several schools who came and volunteered their time to help us get things ready to go.  Thanks to Mountain Trails Elementary, Fox Hollow Elementary and Freedom Elementary!  Thank you also to the many Dry Creek parent volunteers who came this week!  An army of people worked on stamping all of the new books in the school.

Did I mention that we've seen a lot of cardboard this week?!
